Mosaic Templars Cultural Center
The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center was established in 2001 to preserve the heritage and history of Arkansas’ African Americans. The museum is dedicated to telling and interpreting the experiences and stories of the state’s African Americans. The cultural center is open from Tuesday to Saturday, and gallery admission is free.
They also provide outreach programs and lesson plans for teachers and students and a variety of presentations to schools and youth groups across the state. In celebration of black culture, history, and love, the cultural center hosts various events such as fashion shows, gallery talks, and musical performances. The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center gift shop also sells Black-crafted items.
Museum of Discovery
The Museum of Discovery is Arkansas’s oldest museum. The museum is a technology and science center located a few minutes from Conway. Its main purpose is to ignite a passion for technology, arts, science, engineering, and math in an energetic and interactive environment.
You can experience the rumble and roar of the tornado that devastated the Governor’s Mansion District in Little Rock in 1999 by visiting the Tornado Alley Theatre. It’s an enthralling experience.
