3. Woolley Hollow State Park

Woolley Hollow State Park is situated close to Lake Bennet and offers what is often described as the classic state park experience. With swimming, boating, and fishing available on the lake itself and miles of hiking and bicycle trails throughout the rest of the park, there’s something for everyone.

Facilities in the park include over 30 RV campsites and 10 tents. The campground includes a bathhouse with hot showers, and there is a snack bar near the lifeguard’s hut. You can rent boats for use on the lake from the office.

4. Sylamore Creek Camp And Mountain View

Located on the banks of Sylamore Creek, near the imposing bluffs of the Ozark National Forest, the Sylamore Creek Camp and the nearby Mountain View is an excellent place to stop for a while. They have full RV hookups and especially spacious sites, making sure you’ll have plenty of room to enjoy your stay.

There are plenty of fun activities to enjoy, including fishing, hiking, and boating on the creek, and of course, the Ozark National Forest is right on your doorstep.
