Crain Buick GMC of Conway 2023 GMC Yukon
Full-size SUVs offer a unique experience on the road that lets you feel like you're in command, with plenty of space and an elevated viewing position. The latest models come packed with exciting features too, including advanced technology and luxury materials. One of the standout examples of this class is the 2023 GMC Yukon. Take a look at some of its most alluring features, and discover what it can offer to you.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The GMC Yukon has five trim levels to choose from, so it's easy to find the one with the exterior features you're looking for. The base SLE trim includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, and roof-mounted side rails, so you're getting quite a bit right from the start. Upgrade to the SLT, and you get even more with a hands-free power-operated rear liftgate and 20-inch alloy wheels.
With the AT4 trim, your Yukon is a bit more outdoor-oriented with red tow hooks, a protective front skid plate, and all-terrain tires. At the Denali level, the Yukon is more stylish with chrome accents. Finally, the Denali Ultimate ups the ante with 22-inch wheels and a variety of interior upgrades that make your drive feel more luxurious than ever.
Engine (Power)
The GMC Yukon has three engine options, and they all have impressive amounts of power. The standard engine is a 5.3-liter V-8 that produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. If you're looking for something more, the 6.2-liter V-8 is exceptionally strong with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the third engine option is a 3-liter turbo-diesel inline-six that produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
With the GMC Yukon, performance is outstanding no matter which version you choose. If you're interested in off-roading, the AT4 is especially impressive with its air suspension system and two-speed transfer case. These systems let your Yukon alter its ground clearance as needed to make it higher on the trail and lower on the highway. It's quite speedy too, reaching 60 miles per hour from a dead stop in just six seconds. The towing capacity is also impressive, with a maximum of 7,700 pounds when properly equipped.
Interior
Inside the Yukon, you'll find advanced tech and comfortable space. The typical seating capacity is eight, but that decreases to seven if you opt for second-row captain's chairs. The cargo capacity is substantial, with 122.9 cubic feet of space available when you fold the rear seats down. In terms of technology, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard, and the Yukon even comes with Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
Safety Features
You can drive the GMC Yukon with peace of mind, knowing that several safety features are looking out for you. Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking is standard from the beginning, but you can also opt for adaptive cruise control if you like. The 2023 CMC Yukon even comes with a hands-free semi-autonomous driving mode that will make those long highway drives much easier to endure.
